Nicole Canole

Nicole Canole is the Owner and Operator of East + Ivy, a high-performing real estate team known for blending elite service with soulful strategy. Her journey is anything but conventional. After serving eight years in the Armed Forces, she brought her discipline and strategic mindset to Washington, DC, where she worked as a Financial Policy Analyst for the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office.
Her entrepreneurial roots took hold in 2013 when she launched her interior design firm, eventually becoming the lead stager for a nationally ranked staging company. That work sparked her passion for real estate. By 2015, she earned her license and quickly distinguished herself winning Rookie of the Year company-wide at her brokerage.
In 2018, she founded East + Ivy, a team built on emotional intelligence, intentional culture, and unreasonable hospitality. In 2021, her company partnered with PLACE, a tech-enabled real estate platform, positioning East + Ivy for scalable systems and expansion.
Nicole is currently building The Lighthouse, her vision for a 111-agent team centered around empowerment, inclusion, high-performance sales training, and heart-driven leadership. She also launched East + Ivy Elevate, a dual-career track designed to support part-time agents with full-time impact. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Virginia Realtors®, where she helps shape policy and advocate for the future of the industry.
Nicole holds a BS in Business Administration from Limestone College, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Harvard University. Nicole also draws on her background in endurance sports - having completed multiple ultramarathons - to lead by example and navigate challenges with resilience.
