A Roaring Year: E + I Highlights from 2021

We’ve had one amazing year at East + Ivy, and it’s amazing what we can accomplish with the support of our wonderful community and our E+I Family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making 2021 a fantastic year. 

Here’s a quick look back at some of our accomplishments and events over the last year: 

In January, we added team member Qawnana Crockett, who immediately took over our Staging Firm (and in June added Director of Operation to her resume). Qawnana has been a phenomenal addition to our team and assisted in helping our team reach even more people and finding them a place to call home. 

Moving into late January and early February, we started a health and fitness challenge, East + Accountability, to not only add to our own well-being, but to hold each other accountable for health reasons. We are firm believers in succeeding in every aspect of our lives, not just in the real estate market and we want our team to live long, healthy lives. We created goals— for both our mental and physical well-being— and crushed them. Having a team of support and encouragement can make all the difference in the world! 

We added another powerhouse female to the team in April, when Kendra Edwards joined us as a realtor and we welcomed her home, as she was raised in both Hawaii and NoVA. Her eye for design and success in the fashion industry has already translated into real estate, and she had a successful first year as an agent. 

Spring and summer were also extremely busy seasons for us. We celebrated our clients and their families with our Wine Event at Bull Run Winery in May and had a fun pop-up event at Pirates Cove Waterpark in July. Our summer was highlighted by our Roaring 20s Extravaganza customer appreciation event in August, which honestly, we still can’t get over. Fall didn’t slow down much either. In October, we not only welcomed Karli Shea, who will help us reach potential clients in Spotsylvania and surrounding areas of Virginia, but we found another opportunity to give back to our community through food drive donations to The Streetlight and gave out over 55 pies for Thanksgiving. We rang in December by giving away thousands of dollars in a Room Makeover Giveaway, selecting three winners who were nominated by their family and friends to receive complimentary room designs from us and monies to put towards furnishings!

Last, but not least, our Belmont Bay office was completed in 2021 and we absolutely LOVE having our office in our literal backyard. Throughout the entire year, we sold over $40 million in real estate and helped over 90 families find their new homes. Those 90 families included over 20 referrals from previous clients, and that’s truly the best compliment we can receive.
