New Year, New Partner: Our Expansion in the District!
New Year, New Partner: Our Expansion in the District!
A friendship blossomed into a business partnership, and now East + Ivy is proud to open another office in Tenleytown, a neighborhood in Northwest D.C. The District has been home to Mr. Franklyn Salas, E+I’s new D.C. expansion partner, for the past three years.
“[I] love the vibe,” Franklyn said of East + Ivy. Franklyn brings a wealth of real estate experience, he was a Team Leader at Keller Williams, where he ran a brokerage, and is currently the Marketing & Client Relations Manager at SMART Settlements. Now, he is ready to add “partner” to his experience as well as being a licensed DC agent.
“The communication stuck out to me,” he continued to explain. “And after conversations, we realized the potential [we had].”
Potential is not a foreign concept to Nicole Canole and her team at E+I, as the organization has been expanding the past few years, with a staging company and now two different locations, headquartered in Belmont Bay (Woodbridge, VA) and now Tenleytown (Northwest D.C.), so that it can better serve clients across the DMV.
“I love real estate, have fun talking about it, and making it fun,” Salas said.
“Sometimes you’re looking for something that’s right under your nose.” Salas’s vision for E+I D.C. is to “ultimately bring the inclusiveness and diversity to our D.C. branch.”
The neighborhood East + Ivy D.C. calls home is a microcosm of that as well. People from all walks of life keep the neighborhood abuzz, and bring that unique quality to the table that only the District can.
Tenleytown is the District’s second-oldest neighborhood. It’s amenities, great public schools, and culture make it a fabulous place to settle down and still enjoy the hustle and bustle of big-city living with a unique twist: a small-town vibe.
You could say East + Ivy is the same way when it comes to its vision as well: the capacity and services of a large conglomerate, but the personal customer service of a small business, bringing you the best of both worlds.
Tenleytown town gives off the same sense of closeness and amiability, and the history of D.C. makes it unique.
“My favorite thing about D.C. is D.C. itself-- there's so much history and opportunity to witness historical events right in our backyard,” Salas explained.
“On the residential side of D.C., there's just an incredible sense of opportunity for homeownership and starting a small business; I think that’s what makes D.C. unique and an awesome place to live.”
And if you’re looking for an awesome place to live, you want an awesome team to make that happen.
“Making the choice for a real estate agent is an important one and choosing East + Ivy is the right choice because we advocate for our clients-- we are involved with every step before, during and after the transaction,” Salas said.
“We are not in the business of doing a lot of things to get a lot of people, we are in the business of doing the right things so we can be the right fit for our clientele. We work together on the goal of homeownership to ensure we are on the same page.” And we’re excited to grow another branch in our favorite city.
