Part of the E+I Family: Recap of our Client Appreciation Event
At East + Ivy, powered by PLACE, we’re more than just a real estate company. We are a family who happens to work together and find and sell homes for our friends— who later become family.
We are part of the fabric of our local community in Woodbridge and beyond, and we believe it’s important to give back and pay it forward. That’s why we host client appreciation events, donation drives, and so much more. It’s all a part of our mission to not only transform the consumer experience with open communication, market education, and clever strategy, but to always provide meaningful support well beyond a business transaction. We move #beyondbusiness and stay in touch with clients well beyond the real estate sale or acquisition.
“To whom much is given, much is required,” stated by the late President John F. Kennedy is a mantra that we take to heart. We’ve been blessed by this community, by friends with referrals, and by our wonderful clients. It’s only right that we show that appreciation.
That’s exactly what happened this past weekend at Potomac Point Winery. We laughed, we danced, we sang, and, boy, did we eat and drink and have a merry old time with about 70 of our favorite people and past clients!
From corn hole, games and activities for the kids, to the fajita station, this event had it all. It was a great way to relax and catch-up with our clients, albeit a hot way! (Virginia, you can chill with the humidity any day now.)
“We loved seeing our clients and friends this weekend,” said Nicole Canole, CEO of East + Ivy.
“It’s also so fun catching up and having the opportunity to spend time with them and their friends and family. That’s why we host events like this: we genuinely love all of our clients!”
Our team is full of humility and hustle, but we also know how to “do the hustle”! We had an absolute blast dancing and being serenaded by the musical stylings of Jahnel Daliya. It was great to see so many clients and their families again. For some, we’ve been friends for years, but, for others, our relationship is just starting; these new friends got their first taste of what East + Ivy is all about– and they tasted some awesome vino as well. No matter the longevity though, the connections are incredible and quite meaningful to our team members, and, we hope, our clients.
“I enjoy connecting with our past clients and seeing their families at our events,” relayed Will Lawrence. “ I love pouring back into our people and letting them know how much we appreciate them and the trust they put in our team.” And trust us, we think they had fun.
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention our sponsors as well. We are incredibly thankful for all of you for helping us to throw these amazing shin-digs. We consider ourselves lucky to partner with some of the best in the biz, as our vendors not only provide amazing services to our clients, but also help us give back and show appreciation to our clients. A huge thank you goes to Smart Settlements, Movement Mortgage, Square One Inspections, and Super Home Warranty! We couldn’t do this without your support, and we hope you had a lovely time as well.
We certainly know how to have a good time, but we are also aware of the hard times that have fallen on many families across the DMV. We also wanted to catch our followers up on a current endeavor of our Diaper Drive to help The Streetlight Outreach Ministries. The Streetlight helps the homeless and needy throughout Prince William County.
We will be collecting various types of diapers and wipes to help families in need across the Woodbridge area. If you’d like to help us help others and give back as well, please drop off your donations to our offices at 563 Harbor Side Street in Woodbridge.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted on all of the events– fun and charity-driven– that we plan to host for the remainder of 2022. Thanks to all of our clients, once again, for coming to join us this past weekend at Potomac Point Winery and for those who plan on donating to our diaper drive. And a special shout out to our marketing director and event planner, Angie Anderson. You inspire us daily and we’d lose our minds if you weren’t steering our ship!
