Year-in-Review: A Look Back at 2022 with E+I
We’ve had yet another amazing year at East + Ivy– this one coming with our new partnership with PLACE and some new members to the E+I Family. Despite all of the changes and growth, one thing that has remained consistent is our love and passion for what we do and the people we do it with! Thank you for supporting us, helping us give back to the greater DMV community, and for your hand in making 2022 one for the books. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making 2022 a fantastic year.
Here’s a quick look back at some of our accomplishments and events over the last year:
This year, we teamed up with PLACE, which has been a huge blessing to us. Now that we are “powered by PLACE,” we have become part of a bigger family and have a network of top-notch agents all throughout the United States. We can connect our friends to other fabulous real estate agents and ensure that they’re well cared for even if they move out of the area!
In February, we held our first investing seminar and provided opportunities for our clients and friends to gain insight and knowledge into a potentially lucrative and life-changing business by providing education to them through this interactive seminar. It was the first installment of many, and we will continue to bring learning opportunities and discussions surrounding buying, selling, and homeownership to our community.
In late February, we kicked off our second East + Accountability health and fitness challenge! Again, we are firm believers in succeeding in every aspect of our lives, not just in the real estate market and we want our team to live long, healthy lives. We created goals— for both our mental and physical well-being— and crushed them. Having a team of support and encouragement can make all the difference in the world, and a few of our team members even accomplished other fitness and health feats that they never thought possible! Our winner received a $250 gift card to celebrate her accomplishments! The accountability challenge was so much fun and so engaging, that we held another challenge in the spring.
Not only did we focus on our networking and health, but we gave our office a makeover in the spring as well, and held a bunch of client appreciation events throughout spring, summer, and fall to celebrate our beautiful E+I Family. The first big one was our Wine Event in May, which was held at Potomac Point Winery. We spent a lovely afternoon together, enjoying a little vino, some delicious appetizers, and camaraderie with friends. In addition to hosting events for our favorite people, we also ran a few community drives to help support the local community. We had a celebration at East + Ivy Fest in October at the St. James, where we had a caricature artist, played on the golf simulators and climbed the rock walls.
While we love loving on our friends and family, we love loving on our local community and growing our community even more. We teamed up with The Streetlight Outreach Ministries to hold Diaper Drives, Food Drives, and more this past year, and we added two more powerhouse females to our team of agents in 2022, as well! In June, we welcomed wife, mother, and military veteran, Tiffany Brown. Her enthusiasm for helping others has been contagious, and we’re so glad she’s a part of our family. And in November, we welcomed Ambrielle Robinson, a former criminal defense professor, career advisor, and military spouse, as we continue to grow our amazing team of real estate agents. We love adding new team members with such rich and diverse backgrounds, skills, and talents, so that we can maximize the value of all our clients’ investments and enhance their buying and selling experience. We also added Henna Al-Riyati to our team in September as our Operations Manager, who brings with her over 10 years in the banking industry as well as a background in Business Administration.
All in all, it’s been one heck of a year, and we’re extremely grateful.
"I couldn't be prouder of all our team has become, what we’re achieving together, and the growth and potential we have,” said Nicole Canole, CEO.
“Watching the growth of our agents– and all of our team members– personally and professionally is one of my greatest joys. What remarkable care they take of our clients. Each one of them goes above and beyond, truly embodying a ‘service before self’ culture and it shows in our production and referrals. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for trusting us and continuing to trust us with your friends and family."
We look forward to making 2023 another year to remember, and we wish you all a wonderful, healthy holiday season and the happiest of new years!
